Video: Juelz Santana Discusses Studio Raid & Getting Music Back From Cops

Diplomats stand out Juelz Santana was arrested earlier this year when his New Jersey studio was raided by the police on suspicions of illegal activity.  The rapper, who's currently out on $125,000 bail, tells AllHipHop.com the details on why his studio was raided.

"My studio was raided because allegedly they said one of my artists was selling weed.  They used that to obtain a warrant and raid my studio," said Juelz Santana.  "I wasn't there and in the process of raiding my studio they found other things that they put on me."

The Bergen County prosecutor's office said in a statement that two fully loaded 9mm caliber handguns were found in the recording studio along with several boxes of ammunition. Additionally, seventeen (17) small clear zip-lock bags each containing a greenish brown vegetation, consistent with the appearance of Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Juelz says his lawyer is currently building his defense and the rapper was recently given back his computer hard drives which contained hundreds of unreleased songs.  His trial is scheduled for later this year.

Check out the video below to hear Juelz discuss getting his music back, why his studio was raided and being out on bail.
